long or short??

The stop lites on my 67 quit...bad fuse..it takes a 20 amp but can't find the right size at part stores.
All the 20 amps are to long for the fuse box..any help?
1967 Ford F-100...goin back *STOCK*..just sayin

you may have to try hardware stores and other places until you can find one. until then you can put gum wrapper foil over the fuse so it will work until you get another fuse.

AGC20 and SFE20 are different lengths, but offer the same amperage rating.

I think (and I could be wrong) that the AGC20 is the shorter of the two.

For what it's worth, I just measured a SFE20 fuse, and it's 1-1/4" in length. Sorry I don't have a AGC20 to compare it to.

thanks guys...I put a 14 amp in it till I find a 20 that will fit..

The 20-amp fuses are the same length in AGC or SFE.

All AGC fuses are 1.25" long.

The SFE20 is the same length.

SFE fuses are longer or shorter according to amperage rating.

then..why can't I get the reg. fuse in the same spot? Its the orig. fuse box...

The 14A fuse is the correct fuse. AFAIK, all of the fuses in these trucks used SFE fuses, which changed length based on protection rating (amps to blow).

From your other post about the headlights, I have to believe you have a short somewhere.

AGX 20 will fit. They are 1" long.
