Re: long or short??
you may have to try hardware stores and other places until you can find one. until then you can put gum wrapper foil over the fuse so it will work until you get another fuse.

Re: long or short??
AGC20 and SFE20 are different lengths, but offer the same amperage rating.
I think (and I could be wrong) that the AGC20 is the shorter of the two.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, please!!!

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

Re: long or short??
70_F100,
For what it's worth, I just measured a SFE20 fuse, and it's 1-1/4" in length. Sorry I don't have a AGC20 to compare it to.

Re: long or short??
OOOPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSSSS...
The 20-amp fuses are the same length in AGC or SFE.
All AGC fuses are 1.25" long.
The SFE20 is the same length.
SFE fuses are longer or shorter according to amperage rating.
Sorry for the misinformation!!!

Re: long or short??
The 14A fuse is the correct fuse. AFAIK, all of the fuses in these trucks used SFE fuses, which changed length based on protection rating (amps to blow).
From your other post about the headlights, I have to believe you have a short somewhere.
