Well, it was easy but not super easy. I think the reason it was not working properly is because it was mounted to wrong spot on the steering column. So, I drilled out the holes ans extended them and slid the sensor to the right about a half inch and it worked!!!! You guys are genuineness! Thanks a bunch.price2757 wrote:It's that easy unless you have the switch that is mounted on the transmission itself rather than the steering column

Nah. Not geniuses. (But you may think so if you wish!
)
There aren't too many problems that come up that haven't been dealt with before, so after awhile, ya just know.
Glad to hear you got everything working properly!

Re: Reverse lights position sensor?
thanks guys, I also have no back up lights so ill try to adjust the saftey switch. but on mine I have to hold the shifter up to start so hopefully I will kill two birds with one stone. I really don't want to mess with the linkage if i don't have to....LMC has new switches for I think 70 bucks. has anyone ever pulled one from salvage yard and have luck with it working.?

Even with the tranny switch its easy. Its held on by two screws which you loosen off and move slightly to either side.
