guage cluster....what voltage range for the warning gauges?

Post by focusinprogress »

I'm just curious if by chance the temp gauges are 0-5v range like the newer ford stuff....I recently finished a 98 mustang GT 4.6 swap with the crown victoria suspension swap and now that I can drive the truck around, I'd love to get the gauges all working rather than spend $800 on a Dakota Digital dash setup.....anyone know what the range was for the stock 67-72 coolant temp sensor and other warning sensor/sending units?

The gauges are connected to a voltage regulator that pulses 5 volts.
