Mystery horn

Post by Mancar1 »

:?
Have a 72 column in the 68 with my 68 wheel on it. Ground the threads down to the steering wheel hold down nut. Nut is the thinner one for the 68. Horn only works when wheel is turned a 1/4 turn to right. The spring loaded horn ring contact brush that the metal ring on the underside of the steering wheel comes in contact with has broken off twice(2 different ones). I figure it must have something to do with a 68 wheel on a 72 shaft :? Driving me bonkers  I can always swerve to the right when I want to use the horn
Anyone have any ideas.?

May your sails stay full, and your knots not slip. Unless a slip knot.
