OK,
So I have been driving the OB around for a while without a radio... I didn't mind as I was wanting to get to know her in her new iteration, and get used to the squeaks and rattles and eliminate them.
So I hooked up a new aftermarket radio, and I ran new power from the solenoid for the head unit and the amp thru a relay.
The noise in the radio is both Alternator and Ignition. Since the ignition is a HEI unit with cheap wires, I am assuming I can upgrade the wires to reduce that noise, but what about the alternator? Does anyone sell a interference choke for radios anymore?
TIA,
Eric

Re: Radio interference resolution help
Radio shack or any electronics store should have what you need. If I remember correctly it's called an RFI filter.
