Pulsing electrical

Post by Truckee250club »

The alternator or 'charge' gauge shows that above idle speed (around 750rpm) the charge level changes, causing all electrical and lights to pulse. Radio, heater, tac lights, lights, electric ignition. Everything. Any ideas? Fairly new alternator.

My Mustang did this many years ago and someone told me to try a voltage regulator.
I did and it fixed the problem of pulsing lights, maybe it will fix yours, hopefully.
Good Luck,Calvin

Also, check the alternator belt for slippage.
