Starter Stuck

This morning the starter on my 96 stuck. Turned the key off and the engine stopped but the starter still was cranking. I had to unhook the battery to make it stop.I put it back on and it started and shut off like normal. Where should I start to look?

Starter solenoid on the passenger fender just replace it it will do it again the contacts are sticking internally.. Follow the + Positive battery cable goes right to it..
