wiper switch
I have a 1971 ford f-250 ,I want to replace the wiper switch with one that has intermediate fuctions I saw the tech article what years could i go up to do this use only 1986? could it be out of any ford product or only the truck style

I've used both the '73-'79 and '80-'86 switch/timer boxes on 67-72s. There may be others you can use; might be other guys who could chime in here.

I used one from a 90 F150.

I think you'll have the best luck with the 78-79 switch. Check out this article.
