I'm somewhat confused. Exactly why do you need to reprogram the ECM?

Responding blindly, have you tried Superchips?

There are a few companys that make a standalone ECU and wire system for them, ACCEL and Ford Motor Sports come to mind. The mustang and diesel guys get it done all of the time, Ford can flash it with the latest but most of them have their heads to far up their a$% to figure out how you could possibly have it in a 67 . Why does your existing one need reflashed?

im pretty much needing hte PATS removed, the emissions and EGR removed and various other things done that i really dont need on my truck. ive seen ppl do it but havnt figured out where they have it done. the detail zone can do it for 350 bucks, but i was kinda hopin i could have it done for less but somtimes in order to get good quality ya gotta pay the money for it i guess. there was just stuff the car had on it and did that i wont need or use on my truck that i need taken out of the ecm to sum it up.

I think you can make PATS work with the module if you have it and the oem key, but $350 don't sound to bad if it will fix your issues, I think the standalaones are much more.

Found a source to reflash your ECM from this article describing the 96-03 modulars: http://www.ronfrancis.com/products.asp?dept=292

The Detail Zone is a division of Ron Francis Wiring: http://www.thedetailzone.com/index.htm

Good luck. ~HIO Silver, away!
