Door Jam Switches
When did they start using door jam switches in the F100? Lmc is showing a door jam switch for a 67.

Re: Door Jam Switches
Dang it! That's something else I have to chase down! I know I don't have the switches, or the dome light (or was that "doom" light?). This project truck keeps getting more and more involved.

Dave, they're shown above in the diagram I posted, (referred to as "courtesy light switch").davbell22602 on Wed Mar 28, 2012 7:13 pm

Re: Door Jam Switches
They were an option from 67-69 and had a separate harness that plugged into the main one.

Re: Door Jam Switches
Adding these are super easy. I found the switch brackets on ebay, then beadblasted and painted them up. I used the pin switches from NPD for a Mustang (exactly the same) then made my own harness. You should already have a femaie plug on your light switch harness where the factory would plug in the couresy light harness. It took my only a few hours to make the harness and install everything. Now my courtesy light works whenever the doors are opened. Never thought something this mundane would be so exciting but it was to me!
