F600 Panel

Hey guys. I started installing an F600 panel in the old 69 today. I cannot for the life of me locate the wiring schematic that shows the shunt that needs to be installed to convert the wiring to work with the ammeter when switching from an idiot light. Does it need to be changed or not or does this just apply when changing to an ammeter from a voltage gauge?

The wiring has to be changed to the shunt type Charlie-if your going from voltage meter to amperage meter like I'm understanding. Most guys here don't even bother with the amp gauge. A volt gauge is usually good enough indicator to see if we have charging issues or not.
Maybe someone else can pipe in here that bookmarked the wiring to do that?

Actually Jeff.........my original panel had the warning lamp. The 600 panel uses the ammeter. Not sure that helps any but installing the 600 panel gave me a couple of new problems to deal with besides that....

Thanks Jeff! Thats a good start. Now if I can just figure out why my flippin headlights dont work now. Cant figure out why they wouldnt just swapping the panel but who knows.
