1.5ohm or 3.0ohm 40,000v coil?

Post by HDxLoki »

I have electric ignition swapped out for original points ignition. I have the original coil on there now and was wondering what I would get the best performance out of. Im buying a FlameThower Coil but If there's anything better let me know or if there's any better brand that make good coils! Thanks!

I bought my electronic ignition conversion kit from http://www.hot-spark.com/1-3FOR8U1.htm Since it's the only one I've tried, I can't say it's better or worse than anything else but I haven't had any trouble with it. My original coil had a different resistance than they recommend so I bought the one they sell that matches their kit. http://www.hot-spark.com/1-HS17HEC.htm
