Orange wire by fuse block

I have a orange wire coming out of the major wiring loom that stops at the fuse block. Orange, no stripe. Can't figure out what it is. I apparently put a spade connector on it and shoved it with a fuse to give something power at some point in time. Pulled it out (cleaning up wiring) and nothing is affected. That i can tell anyways

I can't find this thing in the diagrams

On my truck orange with no stripe goes to my dome light, but these trucks can disagree from year to year

HMm. Could be.

I also have a blue wire behind the gauge cluster with an inline fuse. I am thinking its for the original radio???? I can't find anything in the wiring diagram section showing any radio wiring so I can't verify..

One of our only downfalls of owning a 71 Ryan.

The wiring diagram for the 71' has never been posted here on the site, not really sure why other than not being available:

It's in the 20's here right now temp wise, (left for work at 6:30 this morning in a steady freezing cold snow). I'll dig out my 71's color diagram in the morning and come back here with it.

This is on the '69

Never figured it out, weird

The blue wire was for the blinkers

well I have that same wire on my 67 and it looks like the gauge for the in-cab gas tank should plug into it.....both solid orange...male/female connectors,but I'm not sure....I swapped harnesses and I'm going on location,color plug&play. Kicking myself in the arse now for selling my 67manuals...real nice wiring diagrams

usually orange is for the fuel sender and gauge ....usually...
