Testing the idiot lamp...

Post by sublimer »

Is there a way to test it? There are obviously things that can break in the system as simple as a broken light bulb.

Is there an easy way to test if it's working or not?

Which idiot lamp are you talking about?

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

The left most light bulb next to all the knobs...the dual brake warning lamp.

It should come on when you turn the ignition switch to the "start" position. The easiest way to check it would be to first replace the bulb. If that doesn't fix it, there are more troubleshooting steps, but I would start with that.

You are correct, it does come on in the start position...never noticed that before I guess.
