Post by fordman »

i need to start a engine on the ground. all i have for a ignition swithc with a pig tail is this 75 or 76 ignition switch and plug i need to knwo which wires are in and which are out. i think i know but im not sure. i have no idea where to run main power into at. the yellow or the black / green. which of these wires are the in from the solenoid and which are out to the duraspark? i think the red / blue are in and the red / green are out. is this right? please confirm.

Yellow is the MAIN power wire coming in.
Black/green is the ACC power wire going out (would go to the fuse box, etc)
Red/blue is the starter activation wire (starter solenoid) + Dura-box
Red/green Positive coil wire + Dura-box
Pink/white goes to the brake light warning light circuit
