resetting odometer

Post by f100fordtruck »

I know this is a shady subject, but is there any other way to bring my odometer back to 0 other then spinning it with a drill or by hand?
I'll get it one piece at a time and it wont cost me a dime...

That's the easiest way I found. I just hook up my power drill in reverse and got the odometer to 0. :D

when its on 87k reverse would take ages. But i took it apart, cus i know where another gauge cluster is if i screwed up...but i tinkered with it a little bit and i believe i got it...I just broke the pin that holds it in. I need to grab the cluster before they tear the building down.

haha, Ive already got it set back to zero, took the odometer out and spun it by hand to speed the process up a bit...took me a few tries to get it right, and on the last try i broke the clip that holds it in...sooo i still have to grab the gauge cluster. Oh well, can't never have enough parts.
