one head light

Ok guys I got one for ya....I was working on my choke last night and after i got finished I hopped in to take it for a test drive.The head lights could not come on.All other lights where on but the two head lights where off... After looking under hood and scratching head a few times I shut hood and lights came on...Any ideas? Also anyone know where the head light relay is

I had that happen to me, mine turned out to be the ground behind the headlight wasn't grounding, so I had one light out, the other was dim... Best bet, pull the headlights out, and use a multimeter or test light to see if you got power to the light, and then check your ground wires if you do got power...
The ground is lust a screw that goes through a lug on the ground wire into the radiator core support behind the headlight bucket...

Check your grounds and also check your headlights. There is NO relay for the headlights just a built in breaker in the headlight switch itself.
Check your dimmer switch also.
