Hey there,
The tach on my truck is currently not connected. Can anyone tell me where to find the wires coming out of the engine that wire to the tach?
It is an F100 with a 360.

I didn't know of any bumpsides that came with a factory tach? But the wiring is easy. Ground it of course, power to a hot wire from the ignition when on, and the third wire for the tach goes to the negetive side of the coil. If it has anymore wirest then that I would guess a light in it or something.

Jonny,
Typical electric tach wiring:
Red-switched from ignition switch.
Black-any good ground source(dash, etc.).
White-switched dash light wire.
Green-The negative side of the coil.

It has an aftermarket tach on the hood. I'm still wondering where the wires come out of the engine, can anyone tell me where to find the wires?

If it is aftermarket then there are no wires coming from the engine. You have to run the wires from the tach to the spots stated above. That is why I was kinda wondering if you had a factory tach. because I have never seen any bump sides with factory tachs or wires for a tach.
