Random cut wires

so im also being told the two green/yellow to one red is supposed to be going to my fuel guage switch???? i only know of one and thats on the floor next to my seat.

My truck has a switch on the dash, too. As I understand, the floor switch is just for the plumbing of the fuel system, and the dash switch is just connecting the fuel senders to the dash gauge.

This is the only thing that i dont know so far what its supposed to go to thats on my dash

and all it does is go outside the truck.not connceted to anything either

ok so went back to my truck and followed the wire that came from my fuel tank too the dash.from the picture you can see, the arrow without txt from what i was able to follow is the same wire from the fuel tank after it goes through elctrical tape.

however it is cut here.

now what i am wondering now is the green/yellow wires are supposed to be fuse to courtesy lamp switch, what would happen if i was to connect the cut wire with the two green/yellow to single red wire? dont want to melt or start a fire

UPDATE the wire that is cut that i thought was from the fuel tank actually goes outside.....

Alright so i was just checking wires with a circuit tester that lights up and i grounded the clip and touched this wire

and what sounded like the starter spun????!!!!

manual choke to carb ....but the pull knob is missing

dont have a manual choke, so that means i can toss it then?
