Saving the receipts sometimes doesn't help much I just noticed last night, I was going through the receipts on various parts I've purchased for the '69 over the years. The traditional receipts, carbon copies, dot-matrix, even hand written, were all fine. But all the ones on thermal-paper were so faded most of them were completely unreadable. Not even worth saving.
Store your receipts in a Zip-Loc bag and out of the light. Just before you completely close the bag, mash the bag down to get the air out. This will keep your thermal receipts legible for years.
