Totally agree ^. This little starter is powerful and very compact(lots of room for headers/exhaust). Here is a pic of it beside the stock 460 starter.SVT522 wrote:This starter works awesome on a 429/460:

Re: Autozone lies
Glad to hear this as that is the starter I have sitting in my garage for when I put my truck back together.SVT522 wrote:This starter works awesome on a 429/460:

Re: Autozone lies
Store your receipts in a Zip-Loc bag and out of the light. Just before you completely close the bag, mash the bag down to get the air out. This will keep your thermal receipts legible for years.ToughOldFord wrote:Autozone, Napazone, Oreillyzone, all the same junk, different boxes.
Saving the receipts sometimes doesn't help much I just noticed last night, I was going through the receipts on various parts I've purchased for the '69 over the years. The traditional receipts, carbon copies, dot-matrix, even hand written, were all fine. But all the ones on thermal-paper were so faded most of them were completely unreadable. Not even worth saving.
