I’ve also began doing some tear down so I can repaint a couple areas.

Few more updates. Got the trans hump cut back open that I previously welded shut because it was a 4r70w. So now I’m going back through that but no biggie. Put some of the vintage air on it, then stabbed the motor for some mocking up. I can not wait to hear this thing run.

I just stared at it for awhile making turbo noises and imagining I was climbing a long grade with a heavy trailer lol!

Fabbed up a cross member and got it installed. Need to get the seat and seat belt mounted. Still waiting on the harness from Ron Francis. Once that comes in I should be making some serious progress. I need to close the ends of the pipe and then paint it and the cross member will be done.

Painted the wheels and did some more work on the turbo set up. Looks like it’s gonna be fairly simple to work on when the time comes.

I’m planning to paint the downpipe and then wrap it with header wrap. One day my mig welds will be good enough not to grind lol!
