I have a set that I bought (most likely) from JC Whitney that I haven't put on yet, so I can't say how well it works.

For comparison pricing, take a look at
LMC: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fb/full.aspx?Page=15
NPD: http://www.nationalpartsdepot.com/store ... esults=100
Dennis Carpenter: http://dennis-carpenter.com/door-seal-k ... 020530-PR/

Cheers,
Duane

I used Precision weatherstripping off ebay. Its top quality, and others have used the same.
Use it with 3M weatherstripping adhesive. There are threads here that talk about the installation. Just work clean, small sections at a time, lots of adhesive but watch the stuff it is sticky and can get stringy and messy unless you work slow and careful.

I have a 72 F250. None of the rubber is on the doors and I am getting a lot of air leaking and noise. I replaced the traditional door seals with the LMC ones but I still have a lot of leaks. I am wondering is anyone has a picture of how the doors and windows were sealed when the trucks were new? I am thinking that there might be a seal that I am missing but no one I have talked with has any ideas.

I put a set of LMC door seals on my truck and they were horrible. I had to slam the doors shut, and before you barely pushed them and they would close. I will be replacing them with softseal brand. The window channel seals are properly bad letting air in and rattling windows. I know I still need to replace mine, need to find a good brand those too

I just finished my doors and I think they should be harder to close initially until the seals form a bit. I will need to adjust the doors because my truck is just going together in the restoration. Mine were from Precision.

I've only used Dennis Carpenter's weatherstripping on several restorations. They are as close to the original Ford items as you can get. I would never use LMC.

I can't remember where I got mine from but my doors also take a little more effort to close now - and they are already starting to crack......... :cuss: I bought them before I got familiar with DC and as soon as this deep freeze we're in up here goes away I will be replacing mine with DC seals.......and definitely stay away from LMC rubber.....haven't had any luck with the few things I bought from them......

I also used LMC seals for the doors, vent windows, rattle kits and a rubber floor mat, and I will not EVER use them again. It's a lot of work to get all that done only to have the new rubber crack in less than a year and the metal on the rattle kits rusting. Would not recommend LMC's rubber at all!
They only guarantee that stuff for 90 days. Unacceptable! :cuss:
I've been hunting for some as well. I've been considering the ones from Dennis Carpenter as well as the ones at NPD.
Please let us know what you go with and how they hold up.

LMC'S Rubber on all trucks are nothing but TAWAIN Junk ,, Remember just cause they might have a impressive catalog DOES not mean there products are good.. I have been using Dennis Carpenter Rubber since 1975 with no problems, sold it for many years and had trucks come by here ripped off the junk rubber that was bought someplace else and installed DC'S Rubber. Even have customers real close to LMC that will buy from other suppliers instead of driving within minutes of there place and that's are :2cents: on the rubber, rest of their company will not go into that customers don't know about

Halfway through replacing all of my door and door window seals with DC rubber. Love the quality, and its all going together fairly smooth. They even provide the rivets needed for the vent windows! Very impressed. Will see how fitment is sometime today or tomorrow if the rest goes smoothly.

I went to DC's site and was unable to find anything for my '68 F250. Does anyone have a link to the ruibber on DC?
