Now that it runs :woohoo: it's time to get some power to the rear tires. I'm swapping out the rear diff with an 8.8 from an explorer. Got the truck turned around in the garage and ripped the old stuff out. Haven't broken or rounded off a single bolt to this point. I had more trouble getting the brakes apart on my 2011 f150 last week.

Between yard work and rain I haven't found the time to go pick the diff from the wrecker. Turned my to the interior. Ripped the old wore out runner mat out and was happy to see the floors are in good shape. Surface rust only. Put down a fresh eBay carpet.

Seat was up next. Took off the seat cover that smelled like something between wet dog and hot garbage. I knew it was bad but it was even worse than I thought.

Didn't take anymore pictures until it was pretty much done. I just get in the zone and power through things. I added shoulder belts to make it a little safer. Then I rebuilt and recovered the seat. I had never done one before but it wasn't too bad. Got the whole interior pretty much done in about 4 hrs. I decided on the velour inserts to make it a little more comfortable on hot days. Here's a pic before I cleaned up. I also order a shifter boot. Hopefully I can find a replacement steering wheel as I really like the stock look of the truck.

Once I add the turbo I'm going to put the ecoboost badges off of my 2011 F150 on the engine cover. That should confuse a few people.

It's alive! No leaks either. Steering and brakes feel awesome! Going to drive it for N/A for a while and work out any bugs before adding the turbo.

Looks good sounds good. Is that a Full Size Jeep truck J10/20 rear bumper?

Don't know where the bumper came from. But some dummy booger welded the mounts to the frame.
