1967-72 F100 factory buckets with center seat?

I have a set of 1966 Mustang buckets. I am considering installing them with the brackets that are available. BUT I have a desire for a "center seat that folds down into an arm rest". Has anyone done this? Is there room for it?

If it will work, we will do a video of it on Autorestomod, my YouTube show on classic car restoration/modification.

I've been looking for the same thing. Most of the time will only be one or two people in the truck but would like to be able to put my lil girls car seat in the middle ever now and then. So it would be awesome to have armrest and cup holders when it ain't. Don't really want a new model seat I want to keep that factory 60's look. Will be watching to see what you come up with.

I built a frame instead of using the seat brackets. Then I scored a center jump seat/console from a 2010 F-150. I'm working on some modifications to get it a bit lower. I'll be removing the headrest because I don't like the way it sticks out in front but it comes with a built in shoulder belt. A little modification to the console bottom brackets required. Still need to tweak the mounting and get new upholstery but I think it's going to work well.

Randy, had wondered about using a 2004 to 2008 center seat. Thanks for the heads up dig the sturdy looking seat frames. Looks like you could tow a trailer with that! Nice work!

I'm on the hunt for a 65-69 Mustang front bench seat. They have a center flip down arm rest. It was a popular option back in the day, but now not so much. Most guys swap to buckets. So I'm sure a bunch went to the scrap heap making them rare. I've seen others mount them in F100s. They bolt right in and look the part....same era.

Center-mounted and one of your butt cheeks will be hanging off the side while driving.

Ya know, I just found that out yesterday when I measured one at CJ Pony Parts. It's only 51" wide, while the 72 cab is like 61". That sucks.

Plan B will be finding an 88-97 era F150 bench with flip down arm rest, and reupholster it to match the vintage mustang tuck n roll style.
