Post by nick0100 »

Hey im nick and i own a 1972 ford ranger xlt f-250 and i am trying to figure out why my heater will not work. I think it is the motor because the fan will not turn on, i checked my fuse and it was good. If you have any ideas please let me know

Hi Nick and welcome to the forums!
To address your heater concerns, not having the blower motor working would greatly hindle your heaters performance. In your situation I like to start at the blower fan itself. I would unplug it and check for power at its connector to see if you have power or not when the switch inside is set to any of the on positions. This will tell you right there if your dealing with a defective blower motor or if the problem is more into the truck side of the equation.Use a test light and check that out and tell us your findings. :wel:
