67 to 70 grille change

I changed out my 67 grille for 70. Everything went together pretty easy but my turn signals will not flash when the headlights are on. Anyone run into this before? They work fine when the headlights are not on and come on when they are on but just don't flash. Same issue with the flashers as well. Plugged my old housing back in and it worked fine. The plugs are exactly the same but maybe a wiring difference?

Thanks, will give that a try. Also going to run another ground wire as well because I might have a bad ground.

Ended up being that the connectors inside the sockets were reversed. Took them apart changed them around and everything works fine.
