i have a 69 f-250 w/390 and points dist. someone told me the dist out of a duraspark would bolt in with a cap adaptor and eletrical modifacation is it tru ? can i get ride of the points? :fr:

I don't know the details on a 390 but I did the Duraspark swap on my 302 and it was pretty much plug 'n play. The key is to get the wiring harnesses from your donor vehicle.

thanks it will be my next project right after the gauges and the turn sig and the wipers.
