different dist.
i have a 69 f-250 w/390 and points dist. someone told me the dist out of a duraspark would bolt in with a cap adaptor and eletrical modifacation is it tru ? can i get ride of the points?

I don't know the details on a 390 but I did the Duraspark swap on my 302 and it was pretty much plug 'n play. The key is to get the wiring harnesses from your donor vehicle.
