search being a knuckle head

Post by timmytim »

Im having trouble with the search feature and was wondering if somebody has a link to some posts about rewiring the mechanical gauges in a 67. Just bought me a 67 and only gauge that works is fuel...

What have you done to trouble shoot the blinker issue? When did is start?

Sound like you are back feeding power from the instrument panel to the turn signal relay.

Nice truck! And that's the first time I have seen a Ranger emblem on a 67 grille. The 67 Ranger did not come with a grille emblem, so someone added that later. The proper placement on the 68-69 models is in the center of the grille so I wonder why the person mounted it up high like that? :hmm: Anyway, the 67 Ranger had the aluminum grille while the other 67 models had the steel grilles. From the picture it looks like you have the proper grille which is cool. They are harder to come by.

It is screwed in to the top of the manifold near the dizzy... If it is stock, then you will see it with a theaded stem sticking out of the top where the push-on end of the wire would go.

I found the temp senor behind dizzy....I hooked up the oil sensor and temp sensor and got the gauges to work. Working on the volt gauge now. Its powered by the fuse box I think and don't have any fuse blown so not sure why its not working
