The pink wire coming out the switch goes to the coil and the "I" terminal on solenoid and that's it right? thanks

From the ignition switch? The pink wire goes to a connector under the dash that eventually makes its way to the coil. The brown wire at the starter solenoid splices in to the pink wire at this connector. From the connector is a red/green stripe wire that goes to the coil.

Should be. Here's a diagram for you. Follow wire 16 from the ignition switch to the coil. At the connector is where wire 262 ( the brown one from the solenoid ) splices in. And, after the connector is the red/green stripe wire to the coil.
