headlight bezel

Post by 72 f100 »

Well I went to change a bad headlight yesterday, and wouldn't ya know, 1 bad part leads to another. The headlight bezel has completely rusted out. I can't even use it to hold the headlight in now. I am looking for a replacement and have not had any luck in my LMC or NPD books. It looks like they stop in 1969.
Does anyone know what the difference is between the 1969 bezel and the 72 bezel. Or who makes one.

Teminology is very important... it's either the headlight bucket, headlight retaining ring, or the headlight door. I'm thinking it's the headlight bucket which usually gets rusted out due to dirt/mud getting trapped btwn the headlight bulb and the bucket.

Thanks Tbone, DC has them listed for a bronco but they are supposedly the same. Guess I will have to order a set and see for myself.
