Engine stalls when I have the a/c fan on high

Hey everyone,

The motor stalls on my truck when I have the a/c fan on high... it's ok on low, just high shuts it right down... any thoughts? Appreciate your time as always... Thanks

Motor: 302 (just completely rebuilt)
Trans: C6

I figure the alternator isn't putting out enough amps and failing to keep up with the electrical demand. IIRC, there were 45, 55, and 60 amps alternators depending on the model. Maybe it's time to step up to a 3g, 130-amp alternator swap.

In addition to the fan, what other systems ya running? MSD ignition, stereo, lights?
