Gauge wiring

Post by 69Ford »

Just spent last night restoring my gauge cluster in my 69F100. Bought a used cluster on Ebay. It took me quite some time to figure out that someone changed the guage cluster
from an warning light truck to a gauged truck without changing the wiring harness. "THEY ARE DIFFERENT" Wist I would have known this before purchase. All of the diagrams I
found so far are for the warning light trucks. My truck is an original gauged truck. learning a lot about Ford wiring.

Thanks I spent a lot more time on my cluster than I wanted to. Redid all the gauges to white background black lettering. Bought a new bezel. Just wondering if anybody
has tried LED lights in there gauge cluster. I thind blue LED's would look nice with the white background. I will post pictures when put it together. Thanks for the diagram.
