P/S Wire Connector

Post by davbell22602 »

Does anybody know where to get the 8 pin wire connector thats on the 70-72 wiring harness that plugs into the P/S steering column? I need for a 67 F100.

Do you mean the one that hooks up to this:

Sorry I thought I had a picture of the harness itself-it hasn't been uploaded to my bucket yet.
Maybe someone else has some info on it but I believe that's a part that no one has repoped yet?
Probably a boneyard used one is our only choice? :hmm:
But I'm sure you could just replace the entire connector, (both halves) with another type (non OEM) though if you needed to.

Spoke to a fellow member of this forum on the phone and he said to try Radio Shack. Radio Shack has both parts of universal wire connectors for stuff in a pack. He was able to find a replacement plug set for the plug on a 68 wiring harness to power steering column.

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???
