Will a wiring harness from a 71 work in a 68?

Just wondering what differences there would be if I took a harness from a 71 and tried to use it in my 68?

there will be several differences. you cant mix and match the cab harness witht he engine bay / headlight harness. if you use everything the only real difference is the instrument cluster plug. http://www.fordification.com/tech/67-72ID_01.htm under the cab and be it is all the same.
