when i turn my key to on on postion

when i turn my key just to the on position my truck starts and the starter keeps kickin what do i need to do to fix this?

Try disconnecting the small brown wire on the starter solenoid and see if it still does it, if it doesn't then replace the starter solenoid.
If that doesn't do anything then the problem is probably the ignition switch itself, you can get a new one at local parts stores.

thats what i did i have a new ignition hooked up right now might be the selinoid but thats new to

now nothing is happening my lights turn on but just wont start now
