I am about to finish wiring on my rebuilt engine. Now I came across these wires today:

Two of these wires are for the stock oil pressure and water temp gauges. I don´t need them anymore because I have got aftermarket units installed. The other wire (with the cable shoe) goes to the coil. I think I will still need this one, right?
It´s wire #16, I marked it here:

So I plan on removing the other two cables and the plug and connect the #16 directly. Do I also have to connect the fourth wire (#262) that enters the plug from inside the cab with the #16 wire?
Here is a link to a larger version of the wiring diagram: http://www.fordification.com/tech/wirin ... master.jpg
Now my second question: The main battery ground wire connects the engine to the firewall, right? It goes on a bolt in the firewall, but where is it bolted on the engine? I forgot to take a picture of this during removal and can´t find a good place to hook it up to. Maybe the new intake and heads haven´t got the provision for that like the stock ones had? Where should I attach this wire on the engine?

Thanks!
