1967 turn signal/emergency flashers
Is there a source for the turn signal/emergency flasher used in the '67s? Apparently I have an early production vehicle with the emergency and turn signal flasher combined. When I try to use the turn signals or emergency flasher switch, I get a loud angry buzz. Started looking at the usual suspects (local parts house, ebay, LMC truck) but don't seem to find any listed. One NOS flasher on ebay is all I've seen.

the early type is part number c7tz13350b marked d2tb13350aa. this one will have one male and one female spade on it. go one ebay and lookup utechcenter as a seller. he is the uhaul dealer who sold me mine. here are some links that tell more about that flasher. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... 67+flasher

Re: 1967 turn signal/emergency flashers
So I blew off work this morning and went to the U Pull to look at the 2 1967 pickups they have. One of the trucks still had the original metal housed flasher that is a little larger than the one in the pic that Fordman posted. It is the same as the one in my truck. The U Pull truck had been converted to a typical round flasher, but the original unit was still in the truck. I took it out of the truck just to see what it looks like. Since I knew it was probably bad, I left it behind. The other '67 had the same black plastic housed flasher that is in the picture above. It seemed to be intact and still functional, so I harvested it. The wiring harness in this truck had already been abused, so I didn't feel badly about snipping off the wiring so I can compare it to mine and hopefully plug it right in for a replacement. Both versions of the flasher had male spade terminal ends.
Side note: I also found a '71 F100 in the yard that had a completely untouched taillight harness. I almost cried. Every single one I've looked at has been butchered by someone trying to install trailer light wiring. This was intact from mid bed (as far as I could reach) all the way to the taillights. I carefully disconnected it all and brought it home. Now I can tear out the mess of wire currently back there in Capt America, and make an honest street legal truck out of him.

Re: 1967 turn signal/emergency flashers
You were correct. The original flasher had a male and female spade terminals. Fortunately, the replacement I got from the junkyard was the same. Installed and now it flashes. I installed the taillight harness I got along with the flasher & now I have taillights. Some issue with a short though, when I use the left turn signal both lights get very dim and flash. I'll troubleshoot that this weekend I think. Maybe not. The weather is supposed to be good. Time to take the top off the Bronco and go play!
