resetting odometer
I know this is a shady subject, but is there any other way to bring my odometer back to 0 other then spinning it with a drill or by hand?
I'll get it one piece at a time and it wont cost me a dime...

Re: resetting odometer
That's the easiest way I found. I just hook up my power drill in reverse and got the odometer to 0.

Re: resetting odometer
when its on 87k reverse would take ages. But i took it apart, cus i know where another gauge cluster is if i screwed up...but i tinkered with it a little bit and i believe i got it...I just broke the pin that holds it in. I need to grab the cluster before they tear the building down.Hemp8709 wrote:That's the easiest way I found. I just hook up my power drill in reverse and got the odometer to 0.

Re: resetting odometer
haha, Ive already got it set back to zero, took the odometer out and spun it by hand to speed the process up a bit...took me a few tries to get it right, and on the last try i broke the clip that holds it in...sooo i still have to grab the gauge cluster. Oh well, can't never have enough parts.
