Headlights shut off?

Post by Nate's69F100 »

Last night i was driving the '69 home and my headlights just shut off, parking lights, brake lights, everything else still works except the headlights. Its a good thing i had my offroad lights so I could get back home. anyway, I was just wondering if any of you have any suggestions as to what might be the problem. I wont be able to get out and work on it until this weekend.

Thanks in advance, Nate

Check the fuse panel, could be the switch, the power lead to the switch, the hi-lo switch on the floor, a bad ground. A few things to check out, just what comes to mind right now.

Do you have factory headlights or high amp replacement. I got aftermarket that use sealed bulb and they suck too many amps and burn switches. So i went to relays on my lights on second switch!!
