Cool headlights

Anybody have angel eye headlights,projectors,hid etc? I am have a few in mind but, want to see if anybody else has installed them and how they like em. Includes some pics!

Be sure that you run new wire from relays to power them, the stock light switch/wiring wont handle them...

Doesn't someone on the forum sell pre-fabbed wiring harnesses for running headlights off of relays from the battery?

I personally don't know. Does anybody have a set of after market headlights? would like to see what they look like and how they installed them. Any help is appreciated!

I don't have any info regarding the appearance of aftermarket headlights.

I saw the first ones on a freightliner the other day and they looked good!!!
Do you have any pics of yours instaled?

I am actually figuring that out now. Looking on this site trying to figure out how to do it. Someone mentioned that i need to run new wires bc the switch and old wires wont support them. When i get em installed I will for sure pst em. Just got em in the other day.

390nut makes the relay harnesses from time to time. i think he is thinking about making them again.

Okay, if 390nut is not able to help you right now try lmc, they sell a harness like I think you need, or are wanting.

So in order for my headlights to properly work I need to run new wire to the relay? if so what guage? was thinking 14 ga.

There is no relay to run the wire to, hence the kit I make (or the one LMC sells). It bypasses all the switches/wiring in your truck for power to the lights, taking it from the battery and straight to the bulbs. Much less resistance in the wiring that way, and you get higher voltage. 14 gauge would be fine, but you still need a relay, for each circuit. (high-low)

Do those have a seperate lead/terminal for the ring lights? If they draw from the same terminal as the headlight bulbs you are definitily going to want a relay inline for each circuit.

My harness threads (both of them) got deleted, they had all the details of what the harness does, how and why.

My harness is a lot cleaner install than the one from LMC, made to fit this truck style (dentsides too). Currently awaiting info on fitment into the Slicks, so I've been holding off on offering them for the time being.
