Oil Pressure Gage not working

Hi, my 72 hiboy's oil pressure gage isn't working. I traced the wires from sending unit to the dashboard and found that the wires and wiring diagram are working well. Also, the other gages are working well (except for the ammeter gage). I took the gage apart and its prett weird inside it. It has a thin wire loosely tied to a skinny wound coil. It seems like its a bit broken. I was wondering if someone knows how it should look inside, how to fix it, or if someone is selling an extra gage I can buy. thanks.

to test the gaue remove the wire from the sender and ground it. if the gauge doesn read then it is the wire or the gauge itself. or it could be in the circut board on the back of the instrument cluster. you can also test the gauge and bypass the circut board. run 12 volt s to the one side of the instrument cluster ipvr. then run another wire from the other side of the ipvr to the gauge. then ground the other side of the gaue. if the gaueg works it is the wire to the circut board or the circut board. yo ucan also test the wire. by putting a tester set to ohms on both ends of the wire. if the gauge pegs the wire is good. the circut board can probably be tested the same way. by ohms checking the connections. i do have a oil pressure gauge for a 72 if you need one. as well as an entire cluster for parts. it is all good except the ammeter. i took it out and got rid of it. i also have a complete cluster that is good too for a 71/72 with full gauges.
