Emergency Flasher

Post by locorotc »

Hello all,
I have been working on my 1968 Ford F100 Ranger and have been looking through the wiring and have noticed there is no emergency flasher switch. I have been looking and haven't been able to find the switch along with the bracket for the glove box. I was wondering will the emergency flasher switch and bracket out of a 1966 Ford Mustang work or will the switch be different. Please help I am trying to restore this truck and am trying to go all original if at all possible. :? :help:

if your truck had factory air. you could even use this one to put the switch into your dash instead. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-4-w ... 43a5018ff3

I have looked at the three of those and am looking at buying the first one, but just to make sure you are sure that it will work right? The reason I am asking is because I was looking at the first on and it said its not compatible with my truck. Just want to know before buying it. Thanks again.

if your looking at the compatible vehicles list. the list is only mae up of what the sellers knows it will fit. most of the times the seller doesnt know all applications. a picture of the prongs on the back and you could see that it will plug in.
