turn signals
hi all.my problem is my right turn signal only blinks when the engine is running.if i turn the key to the on position it will not blink.left side is ok.any ideas ?1971 f250 thank you

Check to make sure you don't have a burnt out bulb front or rear, then check the ground connections on the light housings.

If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

all lights are ok.the ground is good.its not that big of a deal i was just trying to figure out why it wont blink with the key on.thanks

It should work without the motor running,
it will probably present itself later on when it stops working even with the engine running...
The flasher has to have a load on it (all lights working good) to make it blink, with the engine running you have more voltage going through the circuit and it will help overcome a bad connection if there is one somewhere, it could be the switch or the wiring to the lights, to the bulbs... Also a flasher going bad may cause this, try swapping the Emergency flasher with the turn signal one and see if it still does it.
