Brake light

1990 dodge dakota. i have one brake light on the drivers side. the bulb on the passenger side has both turn signal and tail light working but no brake light. that woul dmean the contacts in the tss are bad wouldn't it? or am i thinking wrong?

I think your idea is sound but check the brake pedal switch itself as well. under the pedal is the switch... if it is dead or stuck tho, neither would work... well, shoot. still, perhaps a experienced member knows the wiring. seems like a need to check wires to each side visually end to end. i'll hush now.

well my mind wasnt clear earlier. when you take the name ford off of what i am working on my mind goes blank.
