1978 ford f150 dome light suddenly stopped working

so my dome light doesnt work anymore


all of the sudden


my boy and i were working on changing out my cigg lighter and i bought a new lense for my dome light and new LED bulb and swapt it out and now it doesnt work


it worked fine before so i jsut dont understand.....tried hooking the old bulb up and still nothing
and also i am having trouble getting my ciggarette lighter to work


please help me

possibly a loose connection it the wiring.

I would check for a blown fuse. Wouldnt be all that hard to short out the lead for the cigarette lighter while working on it and popping the fuse.

Also might check that the Casing the bulb fits in to (dome light) is grounded to the metal wall of the inside of the cab..I spent a hour or so messing with bulbs fuses and wire then decided to bolt it back up and call it a day..And it worked.

But also check fuses good easy place to start
