horn relocation.

Post by cozadlance2 »

I don't want my horn in the steering wheel. I wired up a button without the relay. it works but my buddy says it'll burn up without the relay. it is a pushbutton ignition switch originally, now used to honk the horns. how do i use it with the relay? will that keep it from killing itself? thanks guys.

its pretty simple to use the relay. just remove the horn wire from the plug before it goes into the column. and run it to the push button switch yo uhave there now. the other side of the push button goes to ground. so when you push the button you complete the circut to ground.
