TURN SIGNAL SWITCH REPAIR

Post by HALLSVILLE OTIS »

It's time to replace my bumps turn signal switch. The repair seems pretty straight forward.
I have decided that I don't want to splice any of the new wiring. Can anyone tell me where I
can buy the needed tool that will allow removal of the wires from the plug ? Or , it the tool is not needed,
how to remove the wires with out it ?

I did what fordman did, just be very, very, careful. Not a rock chipping pick.

Napa has them. Just ask for a yellow handled terminal tool.

Do they sell those ends as well? I had to tear my steering colum apart to replace the colar for the 3 speed, and I got in a hurry and fudged up those connectors......

i havent really looked for those connectors. but when i needed the small one for my 67. i went to radio shack and found one that worked for the small two prongs plug. i then had to just use bullet connectors and stick them in the female end of the main harness to get my main plug put together.
